Review| Morris From America

Do you like terrible music? Then this is the movie for you..

Centers on 13-year-old Morris, an African American boy who has just relocated with his single father to Heidelberg, Germany. Morris, who fancies himself the next Notorious B.I.G., is a complete fish-out-of-water in his new home, but then he meets the rebellious, hip Katrin, and instantly falls in love.  To complicate matters further, Morris quickly falls hard for his cool, rebellious, 15-year-old classmate Katrin. Morris sets out against all odds to take the hip-hop world by storm and win the girl of his dreams.

What’s to love about it;

*It’s a comedy. So expect side-splitting one-liners and a few off colour jokes here and there. Either way,you’ll walk out the cinema laughing

*I totally feel the concept of having a young person being the protagonist. From the trailer,I liked how the young Morris belives in his dreams and will do it all to achieve them. And a plus,he has a dad who grounds him when he misbehaves. Discipline matters.

*It is a hiphop-centred movie and this is good because it’s all about music.This shows it’s an all-rounded entertainment package.

Though it’s R-rated,you should get your ticket by 19th of this month when it shows in theatres.

Here’s a taste of to expect..
